Elite Electrical Controls is a privately owned Southeast Queensland company based in Capalaba. The business was founded in April 2003 by brothers Russell and Neil Mair, who both started their careers completing apprenticeships in the petro‑chemical industry with RA Mair Electrical. Their early work exposed them to hazardous area safety, pumps, motor controls and instrumentation, building the foundations of the expertise they carry today.
After their apprenticeships, Russell moved into the power generation industry as a long‑term employee with Energy Developments, while Neil became a long‑term employee with PGC Controls working in the brewery industry. Their combined experience across these diverse and specialised fields provided the confidence and capability to create Elite Electrical Controls.
Our mission has always been simple:
build high‑quality switchboards and electrical solutions that meet our clients’ needs, specifications and site requirements, while offering friendly, flexible and knowledgeable support.
Since 2003, Elite has continued to grow steadily through word‑of‑mouth and the quality of work seen on sites across Australia and overseas.
Many of our original clients and engineers still trust us today, more than 20 years later.
